Health Rocks!

I wrote this feature for the Fall 2014 issue of MomentumUM, the University of Maryland’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources magazine, which celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the  Cooperative Extension program. The editor wanted my story to show how Maryland Extension continues to serve the needs of state residents with two 21st century health programs.  I had to fit both profiles into 1400 words, include interviews and program descriptions, and get the story approved by sources and their managers. The editor was happy with the results, making very few changes to the copy.
