A University of Maryland professor was one of the first to show that exercise can help people over 60 can stay as fit as 20-year-olds.  With his research, he’d helped build the university’s School of Public Health into a national leader in the study of exercise and aging.  This feature for the UMd alumni magazine not only told alumni about good things going on at their alma mater, it gave them useful tips for their own health in a very readable style.
