Daily Communication – NOAA Planner

NOAA’s Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM), headquartered in Maryland, works with state coastal management offices around the country, most often by email and phone.  OCRM wanted a unique way to remind state coastal partners  about the office’s services,  coastal priorities, and  important federal deadlines. They also wanted something with a personal touch, to give faces to the OCRM staff voices and email addresses.

We decided on a planner/calendar — useful for a whole year and great visual possibilities.  As director of OCRM communications, I wrote the copy and worked with our graphic artist to produce a useful and great looking calendar. We used photos taken by our staff in their coastal travels and state coastal people. We added the personal touch with pictures of our team.
