Alumni Feature – Boomers

The University of Maryland alumni magazine, Terp, is an important part of the university’s alumni communication network.  Baby boomers make up a big chunk of  UMd alumni, and it so happens that quite a few faculty are doing  interesting research about the boomer age group — a perfect fit for a Terp feature.  A boomer myself,  I wrote the story from my point of view.  The editor made only a few edits to the first draft, and I got nice comments from alums.  Oh…that’s me in the prom dress on page one.
